About Us
Campbell’s Popcorn Shop opened their stand at the West Side Market in October, 2004. Jeff and Lynn Campbell, along with their family, previously owned and operated Karmelkorn Shoppes in the Cleveland area for 23 years and have now brought their expertise to the West Side Market. All of their delectable treats are made by hand on location.

Beginning with only caramel and candy apples and a few kinds of chocolates, Campbell’s has now expanded into over 18 kinds of popcorn , many kinds of apples and dozens of varieties of milk, white and dark chocolates.

In addition to delicious caramel-corn, cheese-corn, fruity corn, and pecan crunch, Jeff has formulated the Cleveland-famous Dichotomy Corn. This delicious invention is crunchy caramel-corn which is coated a second time with their scrumptious cheese formula. Dichotomy Corn was so successful it was voted Best of Cleveland for 2007 in Cleveland Magazine and it was also mentioned in Rachael Ray’s magazine.

In the caramel apple section, their turtle apples covered in caramel, smothered with toasted pecan pieces and drizzled with milk and white chocolate and their old-fashioned red cinnamon candy apples are treats that some customers drive many miles to purchase.

New for 2009 is their Buckeye apple. This delicious apple is covered in caramel, dipped in their own blend of peanut butter chocolate and dipped again in milk chocolate. Yum!!!

Of course, Campell’s chocolate covered pretzel rods and twists and giant peanut butter cups are delicious, but have you ever seen or tasted a chocolate covered jalapeno pepper?

Campbell’s have been featured on the PBS special “To Market To Market to Buy a Fat Pig”, “That’s Life with Robin Swoboda”, “Kickin’ It With Kenny” and more recently on the “Today’s show with Al Roker.”

Wanting to take their expertise to another level, Campbell’s opened another stand, Grandma Freda’s Fresh Bake (named for Jeff’s late mother) in May, 2007 featuring delicious, made on location cupcakes, cookies and brownies. In October of that same year they partnered with their son, Clark, and purchased the Juice Garden featuring fresh squeezed juices, fruit and vegetable blend drinks, and smoothies.

Whether you are a Cleveland area resident or a visitor to our fine city, please plan to make Cleveland’s historic West Side Market and Campbell’s Popcorn Shop (Stand C-13), Grandma Freda’s Fresh Bake (Stand A-9) and the Juice Garden (Stand D-13) a destination. Stop in and say “Hi” to Jeff, Lynn or their daughters, Laura, Bethany and Holly.
